1. Why did you start an anti-snitching website? The site is not just anti-snitching. It's also pro-witnessing. The site was started after doing some research on the internet into snitch culture. I wanted to understand more about it. What I found is that society is turning into a survellence society for one, but it's also turning into a snitch culture. Snitching is doing more harm than good and part of the goal of the site is to educate others about the harm that paid informants are causing to our societies. 2. Are you trying to help intimidate witnesses into keeping quit? No in fact if you see a crime we are all about promoting your rights and freedoms to report it, and to be safe and protected when you do. We are here to support those with alturist motivations. The site is fully for being a witness and helping society, but we are against the evil effects that being a snitch society is having on communties. 3. Wbat's the goal of the website? There is a big battle going on about the stop snitching message. Many people believe that if you support the stop snitching theme you are a drug dealer, trying to intimidate witnesses, or against working with the police. The idea has become that the whole message is bad. We are here to create a dividing line for the side that sees the harm that snitching is doing to societies, but still support witnesess, whistle blowers, and people who testify for just reasons. Not all forms of talking out loud is bad, however that's becoming the message and we want to see a dividing line. 4. Are you another informant data base? No we are not another informant data base, we will leave that up to others. We are just here to hear from all sides on this issue and to try to get some clarification going. 5. Why are encouraging others to rat out other people? We are not encouraging anyone to rat out other people, snitch, or inform. We are however saying if you are a witness, a whistle blower or someone who is trying to help your community or society that you have the right to do so. 6. Are you promoting drug dealers and gangs? No we are not promoting drug dealing and gangs, but we will look at tough issues that society will have to deal with to get the snitch culture under control. On the site we will discuss things like the decrimilisation of marijauna? Also minimum jail sentences for criminals, do they help or hinder society? 7. Are you cops? No we are not cops, the government, or anything like that. Just trying to get the lines clearified between snitching and witnessing. 8. What's the real deal with this website? We want to change the negative trend that's happening in society. Along with everyone who is becoming aware of the high price that snitching costs. Eg. Some communities have 50% of their young men who are paid informants who are protected by police. This is devestating some communties. It's causing a lack of trust with police and communities, but it's also allowing criminals to go scott free. They are not paying for crimes they have done, and they are doing more crimes while on the informant pay role. This is undermining societies ability to trust in the justice system. 9. Are you sending mixed messages? No. We are saying that there is a time for every purpose. Sometimes the right thing to do is to stand up and speak out, we want to support you when that time comes. There are times however where snitching is just not the right thing to do. We are here to try to help define those lines. | |
